When I was a little girl every Saturday my mom brought me to a local craft store in the village of Wainfleet. The craft store offered children with tole painting lessons. After a couple years of lessons I started painting with my neighbour-her and her husband had a small business selling tole painted items. I really learned a lot about shading and perspective from her. I built and painted items such as shelves, benches, bread boxes, paper towel holders, plates, candles etc. I basically learned that EVERYTHING can be painted!
